How to Hack a Wireless Network

This is a pretty simple method that you can use to easily crack into someone's wireless internet even if it is protected by a WEP key.

Connect to a wireless network, do this even if it is protected by a WEP key. You should still be able to connect regardless, but just have no access to the internet.

Most people are ignorant and setup their router with the default user/ password settings intact. This is what we will use to crack into their network.

Go to the device section on your computer and find out what the IP number is for their router.

Open your web browser and paste the IP address into the URL bar and click enter. It should bring up a username and password box.

Now this is the tricky part. The username and password is usually “admin” and “admin”. If you try this and it doesn’t work then the combination might be a blank field (nothing goes in the user name/password.) It can also be any combination of the two stated user name/password. You can also use Google to find a list of default usernames and passwords for all possible routers. All you have to know is the router model.

Navigate through the settings until you are able to find the WEP code. It will ask you to re-enter your info so re-put in the username and password that worked before, change the WEP. Enjoy your free internet!

How to Reset Windows 7 or Vista Password

If somehow you have forgotten your windows password and are looking for way around to login back into your computer then you won’t have to worry.There are many methods are available for resetting password of your windows 7 or vista.But many of them are lengthy or sophisticated.This is one of the simplest method and you only need a windows installation CD/USB to reset the password.It relies on an unpatched bug in windows operating system.

Step-By-Step Guide to Reset Windows Password:

• Insert windows 7 disk into your CD Rom and Restart your computer.
• Press any key to Boot from the CD and then click on Repair your Computer.

• Now from the various options select Command Prompt.

• Now Command Prompt will be open and create a backup of Sticky keys by typing the following command in the command prompt

copy c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe c:\

• Now replace sticky keys with the Command Prompt by typing the following command

copy c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe

• Now Restart your computer.
• When you get the windows login screen then hit Shift button for 5 times continuously and Administrative Mode of Command Prompt will be open.

• Now to reset the password just type the following command

net user geek MyNewPassword

Remember: geek is the username of the computer and MyNewPassword is the password. Replace both as you wish.

• Login in your computer system with your new Username and Password.

Now every time when you press Shift key for 5 times then command prompt will be open instead of Sticky keys. To get back these Sticky keys repeat first three steps and then in the command prompt window type the following command.

copy c:\sethc.exe  c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe.

Facebook friends request block bypass

So Facebook has a new trick up their sleeve which is annoying the heck out of many many people. In fact, I myself tried to send a request to someone who lives less that 15 minutes away and it wouldn't let me. So if you've gotten the Facebook "Do you know this person?", "Friend Request Can't Be Sent" message while trying to send a Facebook friend request, here's the GeekDrop trick on how to outslick Facebook and send that request anyway. It's actually very simple.

Here's what you'll be needing:

• Firefox (FF)
• The FF extension named "Tamper Data". (Install it, and then restart FF).

Once the Tamper Data extension is installed, you'll find it's menu item under the "Tools" menu in FF. Click it when mentioned below to open it's window.

So let's start, simply follow the steps in the screenshots below ...

Here's the screen you'll see when Facebook blocks you from trying to add a friend. The title of the dialog box says "This Request Can't Be sent", and "Do you know this user personally?". We want to go around this ...

Facebook has gotten a little smart and when you click the "Add as friend" button on the target's profile, you may see the top screen again.

• You'll need to get to the "Send request" screen as shown above. The trick here is to just keep clicking the "Add Friend" button, and closing the "Do you know this user personally" dialog box over and over until the "Send Request" screen shown above finally pops up. It may be the second time, it may be the 50th time, but it'll eventually pop up.
• When it does, go to the "Tools" menu in Firefox and click the "Tamper Data" menu item near or at the bottom of the list.
• Then as shown in the screen below, click the "Start Tamper" menu item.
• And then finally, click the "Send Request" button in the screenshot above.

Once you've clicked the Send Request button with Tamper Data started, the above screen will show, make sure that the URL shown looks like the above one, so you're "adjusting" the correct data. Then Click the "Tamper" button.

You'll come to the above screen next. Follow the instructions as shown and click the OK button. If or when any other "Tamper with request" screens popup while you're in the middle of editing the above data, just click the "Abort request" button on it to get it out of your way.

Once you click the OK button on the edit screen you'll see the above popup dialog, just click the OK button. This needs to be done to keep all data proper before it's sent.

Once you OK the Content Length dialog, you should see the above screen, as if you were never blocked from sending the facebook friend request. If you get the original "this request can't be sent" screen again, just do all of the steps over again. You may have to do it a few times until it works. Eventually it will.

When we plugin any external storage media like USB/Memory Card etc and transfer data from/to it.If your external hardware is used by any background process and you remove the hardware directly it may corrupt the data.You should always Safely Remove the hardware device to assure that your data is safe .But most of the people usually forget to do the same.

You can create shortcut to safely remove hardware device on you Desktop which is more visible and can be easily used to remove the hardware devices.

How to Create a Desktop Shortcut of Safely Remove Hardware:

Right click on your Desktop and Click on New.

Now choose Shortcut option from the list.

In the browse location just Copy/Paste the following text

RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll

and click on Next button.

Now it will ask you to Name the shortcut.Name it something like Safety Remove USB and then click on Finish button.

There will a shortcut icon on your Desktop just double click on it and your external media will be Removed Safely.

This shortcut can also be very helpful to you when your Safely Remove icon got disappear from your notification area. This trick works on all Microsoft OS Window 7/Vista and Window XP.
